Mon, April 18, 2005 - 7:16 AMI used to bowl at JapanTown after work when I lived in SF. I heard they closed down the bowling lanes there a number of years ago.

Re: league
Mon, March 28, 2005 - 12:35 PMYou have 36 weeks in your league? We only have 33. Tomorrow will be week 30, and we're in 3rd place, ~4 games behind. We've got the highest team scratch average in the league, which is both good (the handicap is "only" 90%) and bad (it's a lot easier for a lousy bowler to improve and beat their average each week than it is for us to do the same). -

Re: league
Wed, April 13, 2005 - 8:10 AMour league is actually 35 weeks long. We are down to the last 3 weeks and are still 5.5 points ahead. It is tough to beat over perfomring low average bowlers on the rare occasion when they hjave a good night. Our team has a pretty middling average for the leage....I'm at 190 now whidh is a bit dissappointing.....So, do you get nervous at teh end of close games? I do. I know it is silly, but I do. Everytime I miss a 10 pin spare my teammates glare at me like I killed there brother!!
good luck -
