I think my highest score ever is something like 168. Last night I got a 150! I've always just shot for breaking 100.

Hey Seattle-stanis:

It is time to sign up for a fall league. I've done leagues since I was around 10, off and on. The most fun league that I've been in, by far, is the Emerald City League. three years ago, I found the league. it was advertised as an alternative lifestyle league, and around the time in the week that I wanted, so I got a team together. I thought alternative meant tattoos and piercings and rocker lifestyles. I was wrong. It is a GBLT friendly league. So alternative sexuality. I was worried at first that our team of straight boys would be ostracized, but it's not like that. The folks in this league are great people and so much fun to bowl with. As long as you aren't a bigot, you're welcome. Though we enjoy a nice bit of competition, it's not ultra-competitive like some other leagues I've been in. Win or lose, the main goal is to have some fun on a Tuesday night, and hang with some really good people. One of the best parts is that it's a small (around 10 team) league that plays over 33 weeks, so you get to roll against everyone several times and get to make friends.

It's a handicap league, so perfect for the novice bowler. The handicap evens out the best and the worst bowlers, and really what you're trying to do is just beat your average and improve. And if you suck to start out, then there is nowhere to go but up and you're the best asset on the team.. So don't be intimidated.

We roll on Tuesdays at 7PM, practice is at 6:45. If you don't give a shit about what people do in their personal life, and want to have a good time, then check out the website and come down and check us out. http://home.comcast.net/~emeraldcityleague

Please email me if you need more details.
